“Hairplant” is the preferred term. It is not a pebble pompadour, that’s too posh. Do not refer to it as a topiary toupee, that would be tacky. And don’t call it a rock rug, that’s outright rude.

This mini-zine was created to accompany a humorous craft, an air-plant holder made from a rock and decorated to look like a cartoonish person with googly eyes and an air-plant as the hair.
